"I couldn't be happier with how this song turned out. It's really important for us as a band because it's the first work that we've done together as a collective. Everyone in the band did their part.
We had a great time recording bass and drums live at Electric Fox Studios in Jyväskylä. It's incredibly rewarding and easy working with these pros, a few takes and it was done. BAM!
Janne Korpela did an amazing job engineering the song and I'm really happy with how my mix turned out.
I've been busy writing our next full-length release for a while now and it's coming along nicely, but it was important for us to get this song out in the mean time as a type of mission statement or exclamation, to show the world what we're about!"

Verse:
I've been the one beside and in the middle of the fray.
Connecting all of the dots I see the needlework and crochet.
One step ahead, but still left behind. Taking control, only to see you grow old in a day, or maybe a year, but it's not to say the truth isn't clear.

Chorus:
I can see forever, I can feel it coming like a last endeavour.
And I can hear the beating drum, I can feel the fleeting sun on my face wherever.

Interlude:
Stretching as far as the eye can see, the road goes on from here to eternity. The beaten path both paved and worn. Like my soul, patched up and torn.
Calling upon the past to make my present last. We're throwing ourselves off the beaten path to see what's beyond the forecast.
